Since 2021 Evelien Cammaert develops an artistic practice in which she explores the meaning, purpose, and dynamics of the artist’s archive.

By approaching her own archive as a (metaphorical) landscape, she creates a mental and/ or spatial environment in which she submerges herself, searching for a way through a field of ever-changing memories.

This practice unfolds into different activities going from the creation of new work and forms sprouting from past artistic material to giving workshops for other artists and art students, or a webpage that functions as a platform to share her process and explorations.
