Balcaen Ferenc, theater maker, graduated in 2022 from the Drama-Direction program at Ritcs in Brussels.

In 2021, he created the performance "Pheasant" (visuals, physical) in which he explored the theme of gender. In 2022, he graduated with the performance "Tristis," inspired by Hieronymus Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights." In 2023, he served as a director's assistant to Aïda Gabriëls for the opera "Cambio," composed by Frank Nuyts, which premiered at the Gent Festival in Muziekcentrum De Bijloke. In January 2024, he collaborates on the performance "Joy Boy, a tribute to Jules Eastman," a collaboration between Collectif fair-part and S.E.M Ensemble, premiering at deSingel.

In April 2024, his performance SCAPEGOAT premieres at DE SINGEL during the CARTA festival.
